"We enjoy the classes tremendously. Our lives can get so busy sometimes and our time together in Kindermusik is priceless. We get a chance to see our friends every week and spend that one on one quality time together! WE LOVE IT! I highly recommend Kindermusik to everyone I come in contact with that has a little one, especially working moms."
A joyful first Kindermusik experience, parents and their newborns, infants, and crawlers engage in instrument play, dance, exploration time, and together time. As they do so, they strengthen critically important early parent-child bonds; learn about their babies’ early development, fine-tune their baby-communication skills, and receive expert advice and parenting resources based on the most recent research in early childhood development. Welcome to the magic time of life, that all-too-fleeting first chapter of life when miracles happen daily!
For 1-2 year olds, is an energetic and joyful celebration of the very young child’s growing new movement and language skills. A mix of parent-child joint activities and child-focused activities provide parents a unique opportunity to participate in all the music and movement fun, but also to stand back, observe, and revel in how these older babies and toddlers are beginning to walk, talk, sing, play, clap, tap, and dance—all on their own!
For 2-3 year olds, is a music-filled class that celebrates the unique joys of the growing child. It features a mix of activities for parents and children that includes singing, dancing, and exploring and playing instruments. Children will get to practice their active listening, turn-taking, and social skills, as well as develop their gross- and fine-motor skills. Parents and caregivers will also get tips and ideas for using music throughout the week, taking the learning and fun home.
For 3-4 year olds, Kindermusik classes engage your child’s natural love of songs, instruments, movement, and imaginative play with age-appropriate activities that introduce early music concepts. Thoughtfully sequenced lessons include all kinds of learning opportunities and are designed to boost your child’s independence, social-emotional skills, early language and literacy, and self-control.
For 4-5 year olds, we engage your child in music and movement activities that also promote language, social and emotional skills, early math and early literacy, physical coordination, creativity, and more. Plus, your child will learn basic music vocabulary and notation—all setting the stage for future school success and formal music lessons. Parents join the fun for the final activities.
For 5-6 year olds, provides a pressure-free small-group class where children can develop a strong musical foundation by learning the concepts, language, notation, and vocabulary of music and its greatest composers. Prepare young children who are eager for their first experiences with musical symbols and instrument discovery but are not yet ready for formal lessons and traditional music reading with an instrument. Parents or caregivers are encouraged to attend the last 10-15 minutes of class.
